Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RETICL. (“RETICL.”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and services (the “Service”). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws.

Who we are

RETICL. provides competitive Counter-Strike 2 analytics — demo analysis, performance tracking, a grenade-lineup library, and team tools. For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@reticl.gg.

Data we collect

• Steam account data. When you sign in with Steam (OpenID), we receive your public SteamID64, persona (display) name, and avatar. We never receive your Steam password.
• Connected accounts. If you link FACEIT or your Steam Premier data, we store the associated identifiers and public match/stat data needed to build your reports.
• Gameplay data. Demo files you upload or that we retrieve on your behalf, and the statistics, events, and positional data we derive from them. Demo files are deleted after parsing; only the derived data is retained.
• Team & profile content. Teams, rosters, strategies, announcements, recruitment profiles, and messages you create.
• Billing data. Subscription status and plan. Payments are processed by Stripe (see “Payments”) — we do not receive or store your full card details.
• Technical data. A session cookie to keep you signed in, plus basic logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and to operate the Service.

How we use your data

• To provide the Service — authenticate you, analyze demos, generate reports, and power team, recruitment, and grenade features.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service, and to prevent abuse.
• To manage subscriptions and entitlements.
• To communicate with you about your account or important changes.

Legal bases

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), on the basis of our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), to comply with legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent (which you may withdraw at any time).

How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service:

• Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.) — our payment processor, for taking subscription payments and managing billing.
• Hosting & infrastructure providers — to host the application and database.
• Valve/Steam and FACEIT — to authenticate you and retrieve the public data you have chosen to connect.
• AI processing — coaching narratives may be generated by a third-party language-model provider using de-identified match summaries.
• Legal authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded demo files are deleted immediately after parsing. Derived statistics and account data are retained while your account exists and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and operational needs, then deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@reticl.gg. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Cookies

We use a single strictly-necessary cookie to maintain your signed-in session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Checkout happens on Stripe’s own hosted page, which sets the cookies it needs to process your payment.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app.
